The Hermitage Club is proud to present Piacenza, the newest brand in the Hermitage Club restaurant portfolio. The Hermitage has renamed the popular Nonna’s Restaurant, and launched it this November with a new menu, designed by Hermitage Club Culinary Consultant and Michelin-starred Chef Terrance Brennan. Piacenza’s kitchen was renovated in November to better suit the improved menu. Chef Brennan features seasonal Italian cuisine. Throughout the summer, the menu featured items including a lamb bolognese with peas and mint. For the fall and winter, it features items like chestnut rigatoni with boar ragout and brussels sprouts, an osso bucco dish and white truffle preparations. White Truffles are a seasonal delicacy only available in the fall and early winter. Piacenza is one of the only Vermont restaurants featuring white truffles.
Piacenza is named for the Italian side of the Barnes family, who hails from this northern Italian city between Bologna and Milan.
